Angela Attends ANA Grading Seminar

The American Numismatic Association (ANA) is known worldwide for its excellent educational programs. Throughout the year, the ANA hosts many classes and seminars for collectors of all levels. These sessions cover important topics like coin grading, paper money care, and counterfeit detection.

This past June, one of HCC's employees and ANA member Angela had the wonderful pleasure of attending one of these highly regarded seminars. She traveled down to Cincinnati to participate in a specialized coin grading class held during the city's annual coin show.

The seminar offered hands-on experience with a wide variety of coins. Attendees learned how to look closely at surface preservation, strike quality, and luster to determine a coin's true grade. Experts were on hand to guide the students, share professional tips, and answer questions about the subtle differences between grades.

Angela returned from Cincinnati with a wealth of knowledge and a sharper eye for evaluating coins. Her experience highlights the incredible value of the ANA’s educational events.
